Holud Rekha Plain Handloom Cotton Saree

One of my favourite combinations. Grey and turmeric yellow. It always catches the eye not because it tries to, but because it cannot help it.

A plain cotton saree woven in the central part of West Bengal. The grey body sits in quiet contrast against a broad turmeric yellow border with fine stripe detailing that gives the edge of the saree its particular character. The pallu opens into a subtle understated check. Wear it and understand immediately why some combinations have never needed improving.
