Neel Taan Plain Handloom Cotton Saree

The body of this saree does not need company. Deep navy, plain, entirely sure of itself handwoven cotton that drapes with the particular weight of a fabric that knows what it is doing. And then there is the pallu. Grey, turmeric yellow, kora white and indigo stripes in varying widths, layered against each other with the kind of graphic confidence that makes you stop and look again. A thin turmeric selvedge traces the full length of the saree, connecting the plain body to the striped end in a line of warm gold that holds everything together.
