A forgotten story, now told once more. Translating literally to "Fear of Dhakai" and woven exclusively in east undivided Bengal, lore had it to be the weave worn by the weavers who were forbidden to wear the Dhakai Jamdani they wove for nobles and royalty. No longer woven anywhere today, the weave combines extra weft Jamdani elements and satin weave creating it's distinct style.
