Earth and kora in a long, tunic-length silhouette that gives the two fabrics more surface to work with and more room to be themselves. The terracotta panels are plain handspun cotton, naturally dyed to a warm dusty brown that sits between clay and sand. The kora panels carry small hand embroidery butis, tiny geometric and floral motifs in multicolour thread, scattered across the white surface with the kind of placement that looks spontaneous and takes real time. The joins between every panel are hand-stitched in fine running thread that traces each seam visibly. A mandarin collar, full sleeves with embroidered cuffs.
