Silver zari checks trace the surface, while Yali figures introduce the warmth of madder red. Their silver zari manes echo the glimmer of the checks, connecting the divine guardians to the geometry around them. Woven using supplementary extra-weft technique, the motifs bring an expressive counterpoint to the ordered lines.
