There is only one of this. A Bengal handloom saree that looks east drawn from the tribal textile traditions of northeast India and woven entirely on Bengal's looms. Deep indigo and rich red stripes create a striking, confident body, broken at the selvedge and in the field by turmeric yellow that refuses to let the eye settle. And the stripe itself is not a plain warp stripe it is a woven pattern, built on the loom with the same precision and intention as any Jamdani motif. Look closely and you will understand what that means. Look from a distance and you will simply want to wear it.
