Yali Pallab Drop Earrings

A small canopy of leaves, with a guardian beneath.

An open, leaf-shaped top holds a single sculpted Yali, allowing its full profile to stand clear. The lifted head, open mouth and tightly curled mane give the creature its expression, while the smooth body catches the light. Cast using traditional Indian soil-casting techniques and refined by hand, the motif recalls the carved figures that first drew our attention in Hampi. The metal remains unplated, allowing time and wear to deepen its colour and bring an increasingly aged character to the surface.
