Yali Chiruni Necklace

A broad, wooden comb-shaped pendant anchors this necklace, its cutwork panel inspired by Mughal zaafri and closely spaced teeth introducing a graphic rhythm. Sculpted Yali figures sit above and along its lower corners, bringing curved, expressive forms to the rectangular composition. Red teardrop-shaped links lead down to the pendant, carrying colour through the length of the necklace. The contrast between the earthy central panel and the warm metal motifs gives the piece its particular presence.
